Ceremonial center and retreats: a vision in development.
The temazcal is a ceremonial space of heat and steam that invites us to inhabit the body, cultivate presence and make room for reflection. Fire-heated stones, water, songs and shared words accompany an experience of connection with the elements and our own feelings.
At Nido de Amor, we experience it as a symbolic return to the womb of the earth: an opportunity to acknowledge what we have lived, find meaning in transitions and plant new intentions.
The fire brings us together. The jungle embraces us. The gathering invites us to begin anew.
In the jungle of Playa del Carmen, Nido de Amor is a place to reconnect with what matters: the earth that supports us, the life we share, and the inner voice that blossoms when we make time to listen.
Its essence is that of a nest: a place of welcome, closeness and belonging, where we gather to honor our journeys, strengthen connections and celebrate life in community.
Temazcal gatherings will resume after Casa ÁVALON reopens on November 11, 2026. Dates, duration and the participation fee for each gathering will be announced soon.

Around the temazcal, a vision is taking shape for a ceremonial and retreat center, intended to welcome reconnection gatherings, ceremonies, talking circles, sound experiences and shared learning journeys.
A project where conscious hospitality, care for the environment and the warmth of family guide every step. A place to make time for what deserves depth: listening, being together, creating and supporting one another through meaningful moments in life.
Nido de Amor is an allied space of SOMOS ÁVALON and represents stage 04 of this first Morfogénesis: expanding into nature.
Casa ÁVALON is our meeting point in the city; Nido de Amor extends that connection into the jungle. SOMOS ÁVALON is the bridge linking both spaces through sound, celebration, togetherness and experiences of transformation.
The retreat project and its program will grow as the earlier stages take shape, guided by a shared intention: creating places where life feels welcome and gathering has meaning.

A DJ and producer whose career spans stages in Ibiza, Barcelona, Mexico and South America. His appearances include The Tribes Festival and BPM Festival, with lineups alongside Sven Väth, Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin.
At the AmorniRise ÁVALON Coffee Celebration, his selection of house and groove will accompany a morning of coffee, free movement and connection, celebrating together with presence.

She joins Casa ÁVALON’s Sensory Room with a musical offering that invites attentive listening and introspection.

Ancestral memory finds a voice in the present.
Born in Saltillo, Coahuila, and a direct descendant of the Tenek-Pame lineage, Abuela Martha Pico began receiving ancestral teachings at age five and formally began her path of service at thirteen.
As a sobandera, curandera and tiempera, she dedicates her life to ceremonial and community work. Her practice brings together knowledge of the five elements, ceremonial fire and care for our relationship with the Earth.
At Latidos del Mundo, she will join us with “El Pulso de la Vida,” a staged storytelling performance inviting connection through words and memory.

Discover Latidos del MundoBorn in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, Abuela Martha Pico is a direct descendant of the Tenek-Pame lineage.
She began receiving ancestral teachings at the age of five. She was later guided toward the path of nahualism after being struck by lightning on two separate occasions, experiences that profoundly shaped her relationship with the forces and cycles of nature.
At thirteen, she formally began her path of service as a sobandera, curandera and tiempera, dedicating her life to ceremonial and community work.
Her traditional practice integrates knowledge of the five elements, ceremonial fire as a principle of collective unity, and an ancestral understanding of the Earth as a living organism with which we can consciously restore our relationship.
Her work today is dedicated to building bridges between ancestral memory and new generations, allowing Indigenous knowledge to remain alive, evolve and find expression in the present.

From November 5 until the transfer deadline: we offer a change of participant as an alternative that preserves the value of your ticket.
Cancellation or rescheduling by the organizers: we will communicate refund options and response times. If the event is rescheduled, you may keep your ticket for the new date or request a refund. Applicable rights and compensation will be honored in accordance with the relevant regulations.
